Credentials
In Texas, certified nurse aides are listed on the Nurse Aide Registry maintained by the Health and Human Services Commission. Home health aides who work for Medicare-certified home health agencies must complete the required training and competency evaluation. Employers also run background checks and verify the registry.
Schedules
Roles are full-time, part-time, per diem or contract, and many involve visits across a service area.
